Gliding up in the air, feeling the wind on your face and tingling your finger toes, gazing at amazing natural scenery, exploring what’s beyond the coast, the shore, and all the places you’ve walked around during your stay... Add to that the intense feeling of infinite freedom… and you’ll get parasailing. Try it on your next trip to Egypt’s Red Coast, in Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada or El-Gouna. Most of the extreme adventure professionals in Egypt, especially in the Red Sea and Sinai region, can help you realize the dream of flying – alone, accompanied, or why not with a couple of friends! The specially designed boats, equipped with launching platforms at their back will ensure a safe take off and landing, and the instructors will help you acquire the basics so that you enjoy your parasailing experience to the fullest.

Parasailing in Hurghada

While on a summer holiday in Hurghada, you’re most likely to be offered a Parasailing, if you haven’t experienced the thrill of gliding through the air before, consider your Hurghada holiday as the perfect time and place to do it.

The beautiful shore, eastern desert, and mountains views you’ll catch from above will make you soon forget that you’re floating in the airs, all alone, hanging down a parachute being dragged by a speed boat.

But no worries! Beginners, keep in mind that Parasailing is not as hard as you might imagine, it is easy, and anyone can do it, even 5-year old kids.

Parasailing in El-Gouna (Hurghada)

Available at almost any resort in El-Gouna, Parasailing is an experience you don’t want to miss while on a Red Sea holiday in the self-contained, charmingly looking resort-town of El-Gouna.

After “taking off”, the boat will drag you over amazing coral reefs: the waters are so clear in that area of the Red Sea that you’ll even be able to see the fishes and the underwater scenery from up above.

Parasailing in Naama Bay (Sharm El Sheikh)

Float on the wind above the infinite Red Sea as a Parasailing boat glides you past amazing panoramic sights of the surrounding Sharm coast and Sinai Mountains. In Sharm el-Sheikh, and most precisely in Naama Bay you can go Parasailing by yourself (single), with a friend or your loved one (double) or even with two of your friends or family members (triple).

Professional Parasailing clubs have booths all over Sharm, and it is very easy to arrange a ride through your hotel or directly from the beach in Naama. Although it might seem extreme, Parasailing is easy, you need no effort to “take off”; relax, take a deep breath, and you’ll find yourself gliding in the fresh air. The used speedboats have a platform in the back, specially designed to ease off the “launch” and 10 to 15 minutes later, the “landing”.
